Salon & Spa

Some of that revenue leaves with the seller. The booking system knows how much.

A salon’s owner is usually also its busiest stylist. The question isn’t whether the clients are loyal — it’s who to. The provider-level reports hold the answer.

Every listing sells a salon. Some are selling one person’s clients.

  • You love the place — you might even work in it. Loving it isn’t knowing its numbers.
  • The owner is the best stylist in the building. The listing doesn’t say what happens when she leaves.
  • Someone quoted you a multiple like it was a law. Nobody said where it comes from.
  • Gift cards and prepaid packages survive the sale. That work becomes yours, unpaid.

Three moves, in this order.

1. Ask for booking reports by provider. Twelve months, from the software — including stretches the owner was away. Clients who waited are her clients, not the salon’s.

2. Rebuild the revenue from the client base up — active clients, visit frequency, spend per visit — then the prepaid balances: work owed for money the seller already collected.

3. Check what’s left against the loan. Price replacing the owner’s hands first, then debt coverage and twelve months of cash flow.

If the seller won’t produce provider-level reports — that’s an answer too.

No hype. No loan promises.

It won’t get you approved, and it won’t tell you whether to buy the salon you love. It shows what you’d actually be buying — walking away is free.

It’s built for buying a hair salon, nail salon, spa or barbershop that already exists. Starting from scratch, there’s no client base to test — wrong tool.

We’re not lenders, brokers, attorneys or accountants. Where a question needs one, the files say so.
